Managing Director of MHIAA &
Mr. Graham Dun, CEO of Realcold |
From 1 January 2011, Realcold will be the exclusive wholesale distributor of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) air conditioning products in
New Zealand, stocking the brand in our 10 regional outlets. It will be the first time that the products of the global manufacturer are available through distribution points in every ma
jor city in the country.
Our CEO, Graham Dun explains the significance of the agreement, “The partnership we have developed with MHI marks a ma
jor step forward for the industry in
New Zealand. It gives Realcold complete access to the full range of MHI world class air conditioning products, while providing MHIAA access to our large customer base that we have built up over the past 56 years throughout
New Zealand,”
Air conditioning contractors around the country, who previously could only source MHI products from
Auckland will now have 10 locations around the country to choose from, meaning greater accessibility, shorter lead times, reduced stock holding, lower transportation costs and added convenience. Realcold will import air conditioners on a direct shipment basis featuring the DXK series wall split systems. "The partnership will give customers a one stop shopping experience at Realcold outlets, where they can purchase world class air conditioners and at the same time acquire all the related components under the same roof,” says Graham.
The popularity of MHI air conditioners has grown in recent years. The company now has sales offices in Sydney Melbourne,
Brisbane,
Perth and
Auckland. MHIAA Managing Director Masayuki Fujinami says, "Realcold is a market-leading company with similar values to our own in technical excellence and customer service. We are excited to know that the MHI products will be available to both established and new customers throughout New Zealand,"
